Although TPS had a well-recognised identity, it had become a little tired and dated. Early in 2010 we were engaged to review the communication strategy, initially using the website and brochure as launch vehicles.
After our first meeting with the client, investment team and stakeholders, one thing was certain – TPS had big ideas. 2010 was to be the year that not only did they re-vamp the brand, but also the way they did business and the audience they wished to reach. TPS wanted to drive online sales harder and to integrate (or hand-over) as many of their time-consuming daily tasks to an automated website function as possible.
We didn’t see the current identity as a problem and a brand refresh – completely unnecessary. It was the product photography and lifestyle imagery supporting the identity that needed a serious re-vamp in order to reach younger audiences.
Having outgrown their current website, a new ecommerce solution was needed, one that would satisfy the needs of an ever-growing business. We spent a considerable amount of time researching and devising a scalable solution that would suit our clients’ current and future needs, not forgetting it needed to work for both wholesale and retail customers. The final solution includes full ecommerce capability, wholesale sales functions and stockist listings for wholesalers to add their details to a directory for consumer voucher redemption and a responsive data collection and emarketing solution (MailOut) and much more.
Our relationship with The Perfume Studio continues to see us support them through many promotional campaigns including Valentines, Mothers Day, Easter and Christmas, where emarketing has driven sales and continued to be a linchpin to communications for them.
TPS always engaging us in new, exciting and often challenging projects.
